Montella: it will take a while

New Fulham striker Vincenzo Montella has asked fans to be patient with him as he adjusts to life in the Premiership after a stellar career in Serie A.

He said: “I need to be accustomed to the rhythm of the game in the Premiership and it will take a while for me get to know everyone,”

“I need some training because I have been on a mid-season break in Italy.”
