Mersey giants battle for Brazilian

Merseyside rivals Liverpool and Everton are both chasing Celta Vigo midfielder Edu, with the Brazilian's agent having revealed that there has been an approach from a 'Liverpool-based club'.

26-year-old Edu, who was on loan at Real Betis last season, would naturally be keen on a move to the Premiership.
