Man City striker ready to signMan City striker Andy Cole is ready to sign a new two-year deal at Eastlands.
However, boss Stuart Pearce will make the former England striker wait until later in the season before deciding whether to extend his stay.
Cole said: "I will play on for as long as I feel the pins can carry me.
"I told the manager the other day I reckon I can play for another couple of years and would love to talk about a deal.
"But that will be down to my performances and, touch wood, staying free of injury."
