Man City star reveals delightAfter seeing last season blighted by injury, Manchester City ace Trevor Sinclair has revealed his delight at putting his problems behind him.
The former West Ham man scored the crucial second goal in the victory over Sunderland to send City to the top of the table and he is delighted the way things are going so far.
He said: "We find ourselves top of the league and it is nice,
"I was glad to get on the score-sheet, I've not scored in a long time.
"I thought Andy Cole was going to shoot first time, but he tried to take a touch to wrong-foot the defender.
"It dropped back to me, and I thought I'd take a swing at it, and their keeper was possibly a bit unsighted."
Sinclair admitted it was tough for him last season as he battled to overcome a serious knee injury.
He added: "It has been tough but I have had great support from the physio team,
"They have helped me through it. They have given me the drive to keep on going and the belief that I could get back and fortunately I have been able to do that."
