Makaay reveals future ambition

Roy Makaay has told Bayern Munich that he wants to spend the rest of his playing career with the German champions.

Since arriving at the club from Deportivo La Coruna in August 2003, the Dutchman has netted 42 goals in just under two seasons at the club, drawing parallels with former Bayern great Gerd Muller.

He admitted to Bavarian television: "I am really settled in Munich and would be perfectly happy to spend the rest of my career here.”
