Lyon confident the stars will stayLyon supremo Jean-Michel Aulas is almost certain that Michael Essien and Juninho Pernambucano will still be at Stade Gerland next term.
Essien, in particular, is coveted by the biggest clubs in Europe with Manchester United believed to be interested in signing the Ghanaian midfielder during the close season.
Aulas told France Football: "Today, as I have seen the contract's project,
"That Michael Essien will stay is at 99 percent.
"Juninho gave his agreement and we are only talking about details.
"That doesn't mean they are not transferable but I think Michael won't leave.
"Moreover, we don't need money, which is the difference with other teams."
