Liverpool hero arrestedIrish international footballer Steve Finnan has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
The Liverpool defender was involved in a collision in his Range Rover which resulted in a man's death.
Henry Nelson, 81, from Liverpool, suffered serious head injuries in January and died five weeks later.
A spokeswoman for Merseyside Police said a 29-year-old man from Liverpool had been bailed until 29 June.
