Liverpool’s Cisse scores for MarseilleOn loan Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse put in an encouraging performance and scored his first goal for French club Marseille in a reserve team outing.
Marseille manager Albert Emon was happy with the performance. He said: "We have to be patient with Djibril but his performance was encouraging,"
"He asked for the ball a number of times, kept the ball a little, had a couple of shots.
"I think he needs that kind of game to be in the best mental state for the future."
