Kirkland fit for ArsenalWigan manager Paul Jewell has confirmed that keeper Chris Kirkland will the match with Arsenal today.
"Kirky's going to play, he's fit," said Jewell.
"Polly (Mike Pollitt) and (John) Filan are more than able deputies, but Kirky will play tomorrow.
"He's fine with it. I spoke to him on Sunday morning and Saturday night and he's fine.
"I'm not saying it was a storm in a teacup, it wasn't, but it's not serious, just a little concussion.
"The doctors have given him the all-clear and we wouldn't ask Chris to play if he wasn't 100 per cent certain medically fit and he is."
