Kiely looks to MartynCharlton stopper Dean Kiely says he is hoping to follow in the footsteps Everton keeper Nigel Martyn and play until he is almost 40.
Kiely has been a consistent figure for Charlton this year and said recently that he has no plans to retire.
He told Sky Sports News: "It is down to me really, but I have every intention of playing on,
"Look at Nigel Martyn playing in a very successful side and making a very good contribution week in and week out.
"I think he's 39, so he's obviously looked after himself.
"For a goalkeeper you come out, put the gloves on in the morning and technically you have to be correct. You can never do enough hand or footwork.
"The whole picture for me is that I am physically fit, mentally very fit and I can go on for as long as possible.
"I am in the middle of a new contract and I am happy with it."
