Keane pleased with announcementSunderland manager Roy Keane voiced his support for striker Dwight Yorke after he decided to retire from international football.
Keane told the club's official website: "It is up to Dwight - he felt the time was right and he is not getting any younger.
"He has been a great servant to his country but it is a very hard balancing act, and hard enough when you are younger.
