Juve star confirms Madrid rejection

Juventus defender Jonathan Zebina has revealed that he rejected an approach by Spanish giants Real Madrid during the off season in order to stay with the troubled Serie B club.

Zebina said: "I admit that I got a proposal from Real, but I had given my word to Juve,"

"I agreed to this plan with Gianluigi Buffon. Next year we will be in Serie A and in two years we will be in the UEFA Champions League."
