Jol/Berbatov - LatestTottenham manager Martin Jol has moved to downplay the noticeable tension between himself and star striker Dimitar Berbatov.
Speaking after the 3-1 to Newcastle United, which Berbatov started from the bench, he said: "I've heard about this and it's rubbish - there was no problem,"
"Dimitar knows exactly what the schedule is for him and he is fine. I don't know who this rubbish is coming from.
He said: "He played when (Darren) Bent did not play for two weeks and he could train.
"I need him on Thursday (Uefa Cup v Getafe). He knows that and I don't know where this rubbish is coming from."
