Jenas set to stayAny speculation suggesting that Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas was to exit the club in the summer seems to have been put to rest after manager Martin Jol praised the player.
Jol said: "Jenas is developing himself in personality in our team and in the dressing room,"
"I can't ask for more.
"He knows what we need, leadership in midfield. We've got a different midfield this season with Didier Zokora, and Tom Huddlestone is young.
"It's something you notice when he was back against Sheffield United, he scored the first goal and was vocal. He knew we needed that as a team.
"Against Everton he saw what we needed more of, it's a natural thing. It's not something from last week, he is developing into a player who is getting older and doing well.
"He is English which is important, for a foreign player it is more difficult."
