Hughes praises performanceBlackburn manager Mark Hughes has praised his team following their 1-0 victory over Arsenal in the FA Cup.
"I think the goal itself deserved to win any game," said Hughes.
"It was a fantastic strike from Benni, a goal of world class quality and he is capable of that.
"He has shown that throughout the season. He was nice and bright and what a good decision from the manager to bring him on as an impact player!
"So I'll take a bit of credit but I have to say the team was magnificent today, at times we had to dig in.
"The game itself, I thought both sides cancelled each other out tonight, there wasn't that many clear cut chances in open play but as I said the goal itself deserved to win any game."
On the quarter-final tie against Manchester City he added: "We have done reasonably well against City there this season, and have a decent record here against them, so we are at home as well so that is important,"
"We are very excited about the situation we are in and we have to capitalise on the situation we have created tonight."
