Heskey still believesBirmingham City striker Emile Hesky believes the Blues can pull themselves out of the Premiership drop zone.
Manager Steve Bruce is facing the biggest crisis of his reign at St Andrew's but Hesky is convinced they have the players to turn their fortunes around starting with a tough trip to Newcastle on Saturday.
Heskey said: "The time has come to stand up and be counted.
"It is not nice to be where we are at the moment. But we are big enough players to pull ourselves away from this."
