Heskey given 50-50 chanceBirmingham striker Emile Heskey has been told his ankle injury is not as bad as first feared.
Heskey limped off a few minutes into the 1-0 home defeat by Charlton last Saturday amid fears he had done serious damage.
However relieved boss Steve Bruce confirmed: "The scan showed nothing conclusive and Emile is 50-50 for Portsmouth at the weekend.
"He is still a bit sore and we have to be careful with him."
