Helguera on Liverpool newsReal Madrid star Ivan Helguera has denied signing a pre-contract with Liverpool for next season.
After reportedly agreeing a deal with Rafa Benitez, the Madrid man has been the subject of speculation in some quarters that he is heading for Anfield.
However, he told the Spanish press: "This is not true,
"I do not have any accord with The Reds and I have not spoken with Rafa Benitez on this subject.
"But new contacts for renewing my contract do not exist.
"This is what is true. The decision depends on Real Madrid."
