Hasselbaink future looks promisingThe fitness of key striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has been given an upbeat bulleting by boss Steve McClaren.
The Dutch marksman twisted his knee in training on Monday and initial reports suggested he had suffered ligament damage which could sideline him for around six weeks.
However, a scan on the injury on Tuesday has painted a more positive picture in things and McClaren is expecting the striker to return to action in the near future.
