Hammers set to sign SteedWest Ham United manager Alan Pardew is looking to complete the signing of Fulham star Steed Malbranque in the next couple of days.
Fulham boss Chris Coleman said: “We’ve done everything we can for Steed Malbranque but it’s time for him to move on. Hopefully something will be done before Thursday’s transfer deadline and I say that for his sake.
“Steed needs to go and play football somewhere. He said he needs to go to a club with a bit of ambition, more ambition than we have.”
In regards to his own dealings Coleman added: “I’m hoping to do some business.
“We need to get the balance right. Michael Brown has done a good job but he’s not a naturally right player.”
