Gravesen: You must proveFormer Real Madrid and Everton midfielder Thomas Gravesen is looking to prove his critics wrong with his new club Celtic.
Gravesen said: "You have to prove your worth.
"Every player cares what he does and I have a point to prove as well.
"A reputation is one thing but on the park you have to show why you have the reputation."
"I am a team player and I will fit right into the team,"
"It's the manager's choice where he puts me.
"I would prefer to play as an attacking midfielder but the manager takes care of these things."
He added: "I came because of many things,"
"I came because of the way the manager persuaded me and because of the history of the club and the fans.
"When I have been up here watching games, the fans made me feel welcome at Celtic Park which was a big thing for me.
"Those things easily outweighed the other clubs. I had offers but the manager's vision of the game and what he wants for the club, and with the fans, it was easy to decide."
