Giggs retires from international footballWales legend Ryan Giggs has confirmed his decision to retire from all international football.
Giggs, 33, said: "I feel it's a good time to retire. It was a really difficult decision for me. I've loved playing for my country, I've loved captaining my country,"
"I think it (retiring) helps (club football with Manchester United)," said Giggs.
"I get breaks in the season, it'll help Man United because I'm playing less football.
"I don't feel I've been performing as well as I could have. I think all parties will benefit from this.
"Hopefully I'm fresher and I can enjoy the last one or two years of my career."
