Galatasaray secure 14th titleTurkish legend Hakan Sukur scored a brace as Galatasaray defeated cross-town rivals Fenerbahce 5-1 on Wednesday to win their 14th Turkish Cup title and secure a berth in the UEFA Cup next season.
Sukur's goals in the 72nd and 89th minutes completed the victory after Franck Ribery, Necati Ates and an own goal by Deniz Baris had given Galatasaray a 3-0 lead by the 38th minute.
Fabio Luciano gave Fenerbahce some hope with its only goal four minutes before half-time.
