Friedel happy to discuss termsAmerican goalkeeper Brad Friedel says he is willing to discuss a new contract with Blackburn Rovers.
Friedel is approaching 200 appearances for Rovers after joining the club from Liverpool in November 2000.
The 33-year-old is firmly established as Blackburn's number one and has been enjoying life since Mark Hughes took over at Ewood Park.
He said: "I've still got ambitions in The Premiership,
"If the club wants to talk about a new deal then I'd be happy to do so.
"We're going in the right direction under Mark Hughes."
