French star attacks ChelseaFrench stalwart Bixente Lizarazu has launched a scathing attack on UEFA Champions League opponents Chelsea by slamming the Blues for their big-spending transfer policy.
Lizarazu told Sueddeutsche Zeitung: "You could say that it's (the Champions League quarter final) tradition against big business,
"Bayern is a real football club with a true history and their own culture and philosophy while Chelsea can only act like they do because they have the money from Abramovich.
"He is a billionaire and once he is gone they'll be an ordinary club again.
"This club is completely depended from one guy, while clubs like Bayern or Manchester United have grown over decades.
"Abramovich loves football and invests, which is generally a good thing, but look at Real Madrid, it's not enough to spend big money.
"I prefer Bayern's philosophy of constant growth, that's for sure and it will be a great pleasure to beat this company [Chelsea],"
