Fowler wants fairytale finishLiverpool legend Robbie Fowler is dreaming of holding aloft the Champions League trophy in his final match for the club he loves.
"It would be absolutely fantastic to be involved but the most important thing is for the team to win and I am under no illusions," he told the Daily Star.
"It's all very surreal but I know we are going to have to be at our very best to lift the trophy.
"We will have to see what happens but it should be a fantastic occasion and one we are all looking forward to."
On the emotional return he made to Anfield two seasons ago, he added: "I was desperate to come back to Liverpool and the manager gave me the chance, which is what I wanted.
"So, having been given the opportunity, it just would not be right for me to complain about the situation.
"I have never moaned to the manager about not playing.
"Of course any player will tell you they want to be playing as much as possible.
"Now it is a case of hoping I will be involved in what promises to be a truly great night."
