Former United star set for BarcaFormer Manchester United striker Diego Forlan could be set for a move to European Champions Barcelona after he was linked in a swap deal involving current Barca striker Maxi Lopez.
Lopez’ agent said: "Until recently Maxi wanted to stay at Barcelona because he thought he would get some chances to play but now we know that they want to buy another striker he would accept a transfer or loan deal. Maxi would like to play at Villarreal because he has known the coach Manuel Pellegrini since they worked together at River Plate. I think that would be the best choice for Maxi thinking ahead to the new season."
