Former Milan star happy with Hammers startFormer AC Milan defender Martin Laursen has expressed his relief after being named in the starting line up for the match at West Ham last weekend.
Laursen, a full Danish international, has struggled to return to action after sitting out the last year after major knee surgery.
Laursen said: "The gaffer only told me an hour before kick-off that I was going to start. But I always prepare for that chance.
"It has been a long year for me and I’m just really pleased to have the chance to start playing again."
