Former Germany star to retire

Former Germany midfielder Mehmet Scholl has announced that he will retire from football at the end of the season.

Bayern general manager Uli Hoeness said: "Mehmet will stop playing at the end of the season and Bayern will lose a player who has brought us a lot over the years,"
