Former Barca star seals return

Talented Villarreal playmaker Juan Roman Riquelme has decided to return home to Argentina with Boca Juniors for the rest of the season.

Boca president Mauricio Macri confirmed that the club had concluded a loan deal for the 28-year-old.

He said: "I am happy because we have finalised the return of Riquelme to the club,"

Riquelme will return to the club he left in 2002 when he made his high profile switch to Barcelona.
