Forlan linked with Premiership return

Aston Villa are the latest club to be linked to former Manchester United striker Diego Forlan.

Villa boss Martin O'Neill has admitted that he is in the market for a new front man and the Uruguayan striker is now believed to be one of his main targets.

Forlan, 28, currently plays for Villareal in Spain and would be available for around £15million.

Liverpool and Bolton are other clubs that are rumoured to be interested.
