Forlan admits Gunners interest

Uruguayan striker Diego Forlan has claimed that Arsenal is considering making a move to sign him.

The 26-year-old Manchester United flop joined Villarreal in 2004 and won the European Golden Shoe last season after scoring 25 league goals in 37 appearances.

The News of the World quoted Forlan as saying: "There is interest and Arsenal have been to watch me,

"I don't know what has been said but there has been some contact. We will have to wait to see what happens."
