Figo exit confirmedInter flanker Luis Figo has confirmed that he will exit the club this summer to join Al-Ittihad.
Figo told Controcampo: “I am still convinced that my decision to go to Arabia is the right one,”
“I had the chance of going to the United States, but I would have had to sign a one-year contract.
“Instead, with Al-Ittihad I have a clause in my contract which allows me to leave before Christmas if I don’t like it there,”
“This was not an easy choice, in Milan I felt the affection of the supporters, my team-mates and the club.
“However the relationship with Mancini was not the best. I always respected his decisions, but January was a difficult moment for me.
“I wasn’t used to feeling distrust, I came here to give my best and I felt I wasn’t doing so. Then I decided to stay and I won the Scudetto, but I don’t want this to happen again,”
