Figo could stayInter Milan veteran Luis Figo has hinted that he could stay on at the club despite signing a deal Al-Ittihad for next season.
When asked what his future holds, he said: “We will see what happens,”
“I cannot deny that I have enjoyed my time at Inter since the first day I arrived,”
“I found an incredible group of people here. I am only sorry that I didn’t join this outfit when I was younger,”
“It’s a difficult decision to leave this club and we will see what needs to be done. You never know what might happen. It is logical that I think I will leave, but in football things change very quickly.
“Moratti is trying to convince me to stay, he is a great person and I feel deep affection for him,”
“Nevertheless, at the end of the day the final decision will be mine and I have my own reasons to eventually opt for a move.”
He concluded: “Winning the Scudetto is the best possible way to conclude my career in top-level football,”
