Emre slammedInter Milan coach Roberto Mancini slammed Newcastle midfielder Emre after the Turk nominated him for the sack.
The Inter boss raged: "I think that certain players would have done better to perform on the pitch when they were here rather than spend their time talking,
"If they had, then perhaps this club would have a few more trophies in the cabinet.
"It's too easy to start bandying judgements around once you've left a team, but you need to give 100 per cent when given the opportunity to wear such a glorious jersey as Inter's.
"All I can say about Emre is that he's a good player and a nice lad, but people must take more responsibility when they take to the field for this club.
"Everyone who comes through here says Moratti is a wonderful person, so they should put in the effort to make him happy.
"We all know the patron goes to great lengths to keep the players comfortable and he deserves the same in return."
