Eboue ban confirmed

Arsenal defender Emmanuel Eboue has been banned for three games for hitting out at Wayne Bridge during the Carling Cup final.

Eboue, 23, appealed the decision but after reviewing the evidence the FA decided that the ban will stand.

Eboue will join forward Emmanuel Adebayor and Kolo Toure on the suspension list at the Gunners and all three players with miss the upcoming matches against Reading at The Emirates Stadium.
