Duff - Chelsea, Liverpool and happinessFormer Chelsea star Damien Duff says he made the right decision in choosing to join Newcastle United and could spend the rest of his career at the club.
"Maybe the gaffer mightn't want me at Christmas, but I have no plans to be moving again, That's me done.
"I love the place already and just want to help get the team going in the right direction and hopefully win things.
"I'm enjoying it here, it's a totally different way of life from London.
"The passion is unbelievable, they are just the most passionate fans in England, they have probably been let down at times, but the expectations are so high.
"Obviously we are not going to be championship contenders this year, but hopefully in the next couple of years we will be.
"That's why I came here, it is a special place to play."
He added: "I look at Chelsea and I know I was 100 percent right to leave.
"It is as clear as day to me, maybe not to other people, but it is to me.
"I was an emotional wreck and in bits crying when I left Chelsea, but I don't miss it now. I'm loving it here now, I know I made the right decision.
"It would have been all very well going to Liverpool and being in and out of the team and picking up your wages, but I just want to play football and still win things.
"At the moment it is a massive challenge and totally different from Chelsea, but I don't think my ambition will ever dwindle."
