Diouf: My friends thought I was madSenegal striker El-Hadji Diouf admits his friends thought he was crazy to join Bolton after being axed by Liverpool.
The switch has been a total success and Trotters chief Sam Allardyce snapped up Diouf in the summer on a permanent deal.
Diouf, who has helped Bolton into a top-five spot, added: "People asked why I was coming to Bolton, now they can see why.
"I did not come here just to play Premiership football. I came here to play in Europe and, why not, the Champions League."
