Davis desperate for strikePortsmouth midfielder Sean Davis is desperate to score a goal in the coming string of matches in order to have fulfilled his side of a bet he had with team-mate Gary O'Neil.
Manager Harry Redknapp said: "It is terrible, and I think Davo is even more desperate to get one on target,"
"We can't scrap the bet, though. It has gone too far for that.
"The problem is that it has gone nationwide now. I had a text the other day from a betting company who want to do something with us. The word has spread.
"Every time you open the local paper now we both get a rating of five (out of 10) regardless of how we've played with the comment `still can't cut his hair'."
