Cole thrilled with Three Lions goalChelsea playmaker Joe Cole has talked of his satisfaction to have finished the season with a goal for England.
Speaking after the 3-0 victory over Estonia, Cole said: "It has been a long old season for me,"
"I have only been playing two months and it was nice to get back with England.
"The manager has always kept in touch and it is nice to be back with the lads."
On his goal in the match, he added: "I knew the angle was tight and I had a maximum of two touches,"
"They are nice when they go in, but they can easily fly into the stand.
"Every now and then they go in and it was nice."
"We knew there was pressure on us in these games,"
"But I thought we started brilliantly.
"We were in their faces and everyone was making tackles and tactically we got it spot on.
"The first 20 minutes was where the game was won. We weren't in front, but they knew mentally we were up for the game and would break them down eventually.
"You can't take anyone lightly. This team is a lot better than Andorra, but I thought we played well for 90 minutes and kept the ball well."
