Despite missing the final 10 weeks of the season with a knee injury the former Manchester United and England star said: “I’ll most probably sign my new contract this week.
“My knee is good at the moment and I’m keen to get back as soon as possible.
“But I don’t know if it will be my last contract. Who knows?
“I’ve not enjoyed the back end of the season as much, with the injury and not being able to perform how you want to perform.”
