Charlton star in European pleaRadostin Kishishev has called on his Charlton Athletic team-mates to claim a European place for the first time in the club's history.
The London outfit is currently well placed in eighth and their Bulgarian star insists that the club should use the upcoming game against Tottenham as a springboard for their European ambitions.
He said: "We have collected 40 points which is the staying point of the Premier League, hopefully this season we can try to get into Europe,
"This is the first of three consecutive home games for us so it is very important. It's a local derby but we know all about Tottenham and how they play; we are ready for the battle.
"We had a little break and hopefully we will be more fresh. Since I've been here we have always been safe 10 games before the end of the season.
"We are ready to battle for the Uefa Cup places. We have lacked some experience in recent years but now we have players who have played in Europe.
"It is time to push ourselves to deliver and get into the Uefa Cup."
