Charlton receive six week injury blowCharlton keeper Dean Kiely will be sidelined for six weeks after fracturing a finger in training.
Kiely has been ruled out for the start of the new Premiership season putting Charlton boss Alan Curbishley in a quandary as he only has Stephan Andersen as back-up.
Curbishley said: "Dean's injury puts a dampener on things but now Stephan will get his chance which is why we brought him here,
"He got a bit of exposure last year and there is an opportunity now for him to grab some games.
"We have got a little problem, though, because our other keepers are very, very young and have not got a first-team game between them and have not played too many reserve-team games because Stephan played most of them last year.
"It is something we have to keep an eye on and if it gets any worse we will have to go to the Premier League and ask for special dispensation because we have had our two loans."
