Carson reveals happinessOn-loan Charlton Athletic keeper Scott Carson has talked of his delight to be seeing some regular game time since joined the club on a season long deal from Liverpool.
Carson, who saved an El Hadji Diouf's penalty in Charlton’s 2-0 win over Bolton said: "I have studied all the Bolton penalty takers and knew which way Diouf was going to go.
"I was delighted to save it and then to get an assist was the icing on the cake.
"It is just great to get that first win under our belts. Hopefully now we can push on and get our season started. I am really enjoying playing every week and it can only help my development."
Charlton manager Ian Dowie added: "It was a big decision to go with Scott because I think Thomas Myhre is an excellent keeper. But I just see something in the lad.
"He has calmness about him, he kicks the ball well, is fantastically agile and I have to thank Liverpool for letting me have him.
"He has done terrific. He is a quiet lad about the place but we have got some good characters."
"I was delighted to save it and then to get an assist was the icing on the cake.
