Carson enjoying opportunityLiverpool goalkeeper Scott Carson has expressed his gratitude to Charlton manager Iain Dowie for the opportunity to play regular first team football in the Premiership while on loan at the club.
"It is all credit to the manager here that he took the opportunity to give an inexperienced goalkeeper like me a chance of gaining experience here," said Carson.
"I am enjoying it and learning all the time, but if I am told to go back to Liverpool then it is what I must do.
"At the same time, though, I want to help Charlton up the table and I'm glad if my saves can do that."
