Butt set to returnSteve Bruce is hoping former Manchester United midfielder Nicky Butt will revive Birmingham's stuttering Premiership campaign.
Butt is available to return at Blackburn on Saturday after serving a four-game ban following last month's dismissal at Portsmouth.
Bruce said: "Nicky is a big influence on and off the pitch.
"It has been a hammer blow to lose him because at Portsmouth I was just detecting we were seeing the real Nicky Butt.
"He has been there and done it and the great thing about him is that he still has his humility."
