Butt faces further ban

The English FA has handed Birmingham midfielder Nicky Butt a further one-match ban for using abusive and insulting words to a match official.

It means the former Manchester United star will be ruled out of the derby with Aston Villa at St Andrews on 16 October.

Butt has already served a three-game suspension after being sent off for violent conduct in the Premiership game with Portsmouth at Fratton Park on 17 September.
