Bruce admits striker concernBirmingham City manager has admitted that he is worried about playing striker Mikael Forssell following his long injury lay off.
Bruce said: “Mikael needs to play but I can’t take a gamble by letting him play in the hurly-burly of the end of the season.
“We’ll try to get some games for him in the summer. I feel sorry for him because he has worked so hard but I don’t want to take any risks.”
Forssell, 26, has made a full recovery from his knee injury but it seems he will not be considered by Bruce unless and emergency striker is required.
