Brazilian star ruled outBarcelona and Brazil defender Edmilson has been ruled out of the upcoming World Cup with a knee injury.
Team doctor Jose Luis Runco said:"We did a scan today which confirmed that Edmilson is suffering from a broken left knee,"
"It's an injury which means the player cannot compete in the World Cup and for this reason he has been excluded.
"Edmilson said that he believes that the problem could have occurred during the Champions League final,"
