Boro set for Juventus raidMiddlebrough boss Steve McClaren is preparing a swoop for Juventus defender Igor Tudor.
McClaren was in Rome to watch the Croat, on loan at Siena, on Wednesday and also saw his striker Massimo Maccarone score for Roma.
He said: “It was a great opportunity to see Massimo in action. He not only scored but did well overall, which was nice.
“But I also took the chance to keep an eye on Igor Tudor. We plan more trips to Italy this term as we plan for next season.”
